A well trained dog is a HAPPY dog!

Here's what some of our clients have to say:-

I am sure Christine was a dog in a previous life! Either that or she's a mind reader.  Her approach to dog training is not only kind and full of humour but also gets right to the point and - it works!  My Cairn Terrier, Bertie, was 'barking mad' as an 8 week old puppy when we joined our first socialisation class.  Now at 9 months, he is (mostly) well behaved and a joy to work with in company with people and other dogs.  Bertie would not be nearly so much fun to be with if I'd not learned how to work with him so effectively in Christine's hands.  I am delighted to recommend Christine's courses and so is Bertie who has a fabulous time, eating cheese and sausage treats in to the bargain at every class.  We've done 3 courses so far and I know we will be back for more. (Jane Short and Bertie)

Christine quickly identified which training method would best suit my dog. Her calm approach helped me to feel confident – I was impressed at how quickly my dog could learn! The training sessions are fun, and very busy, and the notes provided at the end help you and your dog to practise what you have learnt. (Mary Marlowe and Molly)

Just a quick email to say thanks for looking after Summer so well.  She came back full of beans instead of a nervous wreck like before.  We will definitely be back if we can get in. (Thanks  Tracey Greaves)

Sorry for the delay in thanking you and your family for looking after Ellie so well. It was nice to see how comfortable she was in your presence while still welcoming us back! Look forward to seeing you after Easter for her training.
Kind regards ,
Georgina

Comments from Tamsin Raistrick on collecting her Siberian Husky, Wolf, following three weeks of residential training with us:

"Wolf was a slight problem with sheep to start with but is calming down again on our daily walks as we see more of them, and has moved his attention on to the pheasants. These run really fast and I don't always spot them in time so he gets a bit of a chase in. He's sitting really well, is leaving and coming back when called on walks when sheep are nearby (always on the flexi lead but I don't have to haul him in) and is getting better about waiting for his food. I have also given him food in my hands and when told 'gently', still bolts it, but with a little more finesse leaving hands unharmed.

He is doing really well, given the constant provocation of the other dogs, and I'm really pleased with him thank you. I gave up on the treat and puzzle balls as his tummy really didn't like them, and went back to pigs ears and rawhide chews which don't give him the problem. We have tried some clicker exercises but the slightest noise from the others and he shot off to investigate........attention span of a small gnat still but I really don't mind.

It's a pleasure to have him home, and not to have him messing the floor at night!  Many thanks, Tamsin"
