For all courses it is necessary to book a place. Places cannot be confirmed until a completed enrolment form and full payment have been received. For Stage 1 courses dogs will be offered places on courses with other dogs of a similar age. Puppies will not be included in classes with older dogs.

Courses at Thirkleby Manor, Kirby Grindalythe, Malton
All courses below are for 6 weeks, sessions last one hour, fee is £70, maximum 6 dogs each course to ensure dogs receive adequate attention and assessmnet . Dogs that have not attended WWCL classes before will be invited for assessment before being offered a place on any of the courses other than Stage 1 Obedience, £15 for 30 min
Stage 1 Obedience - All the basics: sit down, walk on a loose lead, leave it, stay, recall – how to have a well mannered dog
Dogs under 6 months – Commencing 10/08/10 - 6.30pm
Stage 2 Obedience– Building on Stage 1 skills, improving control and introducing distance work, dogs must have completed Stage 1 or equivalent
Commencing 10/08/10 – 7.30pm
Fun & Games – A course packed with an assortment of fun activities for handler and dog including heelwork tomusic, agility, and obedience, building a great relationship with your dog. Dogs must have completed Stage 1 or equivalent
Commencing 04/08/10 at 6.30pm
Stage 1 Agility – An introduction to agility – dogs must be at least 12 months of age and musthave completed Stage 1 obedience or equivalent (No jumps for dogs under 18 months)
Commencing 04/08/10 at 7.45pm
Basic Gundog – Basic skills needed to start off your gundog: heelwork, retrieves, and steadiness. Dogs must have completed Stage 1 Obedience or equivalent.

One to One Training
If you don’t want to join a course then we offer one to one training either here or in your own home prices start at £25 for a 45 minute session
Design Your Own Course -
For up to 6 handlers and dogs, let us know what you would like to do and we will design a course for you and your friends. Sessions can be held at your place or ours. Prices start at £500 for 6 one hour sessions.
Residential Training
For those who don't have time to train their own dogs we offer a residential training package. Your dog will stay with us for 3 - 4 weeks and we will teach them for you. Should your dog have any behavioural issues which need to be addressed the training period may be longer.
Prices start at £800
Boarding Kennels
Give your dog a treat when you go away, leave them with us and we will ensure they have a great holiday. Maximum of 12 dogs so we have time to spend with each of our residents and make sure they are happy and healthy. Plenty of exercise, at least 5 sessions a day, with other dogs if they are sociable.
We will maintain any training within reason.
Large, airy accommodation with underfloor heating and individual runs, family dogs can stay together.
Prices start at £15 per day.
Grooming
Christine is now a qualified dog groomer.We have state of the art equipment including a hydrobath and can offer anything from just a bath and tidy up removing all that dead hair that clings to your carpets, to full groom with clipping, scissoring or hand stripping.Prices available on application according to requirements and state of coat.
Walking
We are now offering a dog walking service; we will keep up with any training you are doing with your dog (within reason) to ensure they don’t relapse!
Prices start at £11 for a 40 minute walk.
