A well trained dog is a HAPPY dog!

We have 8 kennels, 4 regular and 4 family.  All the kennels have underfloor heating and ceramic tiles in the sleeping area.  Each kennel has its own run with a double glazed door into the sleeping area, on cold nights the doors are shut making a cosy bedroom for the dogs, on warm nights in summer the doors are left open to prevent overheating.  The kennels are in small units to avoid a stressful environment, there being 4 in one block and only 2 in the other two blocks.  The sizes vary so we can accomodate small or large dogs, family dogs may stay together.

A radio plays all day as background music to help settle the dogs.  We encourage you to bring your dog's own bedding, lead and any favourite toys to help make them feel at home.  A web cam is available for those who want to log on and watch their dog enjoying their stay with us.  A DVD of your dog at play is also available.  Please ask about these services when you make your booking.

Wolds Way stocks Luath dog food, if your dog is on an alternative diet we ask that you provide enough food for your dog's stay with us.  As we are small we can not stock a variety as it would impair the quality of the food if it is not fresh.

Because we are small and only ever have a maximum of 12 dogs staying we can ensure that your dogs receive plenty of attention.  The dogs are looked after by Christine, with Rebecca and James helping when they are at home and a part time member of staff, Jackie who has an HND in Animal Management.   We can therefore monitor your dog closely and ensure they are happy and healthy.  Any problems are noted immediately and dealt with accordingly.

We cater for all breeds and types, whether your dog be active and outgoing or shy and timid, young or old, we will give them the care and attention they need during their stay with us.  If you would like to visit before leaving your dog with us we invite you and your dog to come along and meet us.

The entrance to the kennels is a farm track and therefore can be very muddy during wet periods, we apologise for this!
